The mighty winged warriors of the United Racing Club presented by Capital Renegade will make their first of two visits to the Minersville, PA dirt oval. The URC club has been a staple at Big Diamond Speedway over the years with their hard charging brand of racing. After five completed races so far in 2021, Jason Schultz leads the way with two wins and is also the current points leader. Close behind Schultz are Andy Best and Dallas Schott. The sprinters will compete in a 25-lap main event.
The Insigner Performance Modifieds will compete in a regular show that will conclude with a 25-lap feature race. Last week it was the annual Money in the Mountains race and taking the big $5,000 payday was young Alex Yankowski who dominated the event. All time leading winner in the Modifieds Craig Von Dohren overtook Mike Gular late in the event but had no time to rundown the high flying Yankowski. Von Dohren will be looking to finish one spot higher this week to add to his winning totals. Timmy Buckwalter leads the yearlong race for the points championship over Ryan Krachun, Billy Pauch Jr, Duane Howard and Alex Yankowski.
The Savage 61 Crate Sportsman will return to action for the second week in a row. Steve Lyle and Eric Palmer have found victory in the two races completed this season. This division continues to grow in popularity and features some of the most promising up and coming drivers in the sport.
Alex Schoffstall managed to stop the Andy Fayash III freight train in the Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunner division last Friday night by winning the feature over Fayash III. Some of most exciting racing takes place every Friday night in this division and this week should be no different.
Pit Gates will open on Friday night at 5:00 PM with the grandstand gates opening at 5:30 PM.
Warm ups get underway at 7:15 PM with racing starting at 7:45 PM.
General admission on Friday night will be $25, Senior admission is $23. Kids under 16 are free. Active military are admitted free with a valid ID.
If you cannot make it to the track, DirtTrackDigest.TV will provide all the action live via pay-per-view.
