It will be another big night of racing this Friday June 11th as the PASS/MASS 305 Sprint cars join in on the action for the first time in 2021.Friday night will be S.A. Comunale night at the speedway. S.A. Comunale has been in business for over 100 years and has led the way in their industry. The 305 Sprint division continues to grow every year and this year is no exception as the quality of drivers in this division continues to provide excellent racing. The PASS Sprint club is led by Ken Duke Jr who is the current points leader by 14 points over Garrett Bard. The MASS Sprint club shows a tie for the points lead between Eddie Wagner and Kevin Nagy. This dual event should be a wild one as both clubs battle for supremacy at Big Diamond.
As always, it will be the Insigner Performance 358 Modifies that will headline the night led by two-time winner Billy Pauch Jr. Pauch Jr has been strong all season but has suffered a couple of DNF’s which has hurt him in the battle for the 2021 title. On the other hand, Duane Howard has been a model of consistency all season long which has vaulted him to the top of the standings so far this season. Howard and his Butch Getz owned No. 15G are still searching for their first win at Big Diamond and you can be sure that will be happening soon.
The USS Achey Open Sportsman will be back for the second win in a row this Friday night. Michael Burrows completely dominated the 20-lap main event last week and will back looking to make it two in a row. In the race for the 2021 championship, Brendan Edgar currently leads the standings over Mike Schneck.
The Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunner division has been a battle between two drivers so far in 2021 as Andrew Fayash III and Alex Schoffstall have been in victory lane two times each. Every week it is a battle between these two drivers as they race to see who can get to the front first. Fayash III currently holds a safe lead in the points but the defending champion Schoffstall has been cutting into that lead the past two weeks.
Pit Gates will open on Friday night at 5:00 PM with the grandstand gates opening at 5:30 PM.
Pit admission is $30 for Big Diamond Speedway, PASS and MASS members. Pit admission for non-members is $40.
Warm ups get underway at 7:15 PM with racing starting at 7:45 PM.
General admission on Friday night will be $20, Kids under 16 are free. Active military are admitted free with a valid ID.
