I guess it was only a matter of time, for past eight to ten weeks Big Diamond Speedway has been dodging Mother Nature most every week and has managed to get the shows in. Tonight, that all came to an end. With race cars from all divisions flowing into the pits, the skies let loose in a big way forcing promoters Jake and Jasmine Smulley to throw in the towel and cancel the nights races.

With last night’s cancellation of the final points night for all divisions, Big Diamond Speedway has adjusted next weeks Coalcracker weekend schedule so all divisions will be able to get their final points night in.

The Friday night September 3rd schedule will go like this: Fire Management of Pennsylvania Night will consist of a full show of the Insigner Performance Modifieds (final points night), the U.S.S. Achey Open Sportsman will compete in their regularly scheduled Coalcracker 40 with $1,500 going to the winner (final points, open draw). Also being added to the Friday night racing card will be the Savage 61 Crate 602 Sportsman for their final points race of the season. The Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunners will also compete in their final points race. Champions in each division will be crowned on Friday night.

On Sunday September 5th, the track will close out it’s racing season with the annual running of the Fritz Roehrig Memorial, Jack Rich Inc. Modified Coalcracker 72 which will pay $17,000 to the winner. The Savage 61 Crate Sportsman will be back on Sunday as well as they compete in the 602 Sportsman 30 with $1,500 to the winner. The Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunners will also race with $500 going to the winner of the feature. The Roadrunners will also compete in the Pro Shine Auto Detailing Roadrunner Challenge.

Full details for each night will be released shortly.

If you cannot make it to the track, DirtTrackDigest.TV will provide all the action live via pay-per-view.
