With a top prize of $10,000-to-win for the headline Quandel Concrete 358 Modifieds fans can expect to see another stellar field of teams rolling into the speedway much as they did on Opening Night.
There’s another big paying race taking place with the Full Fender Frenzy, a $1000-to-win feature that will be made up of Big Diamond Speedway Roadrunners along with similar type cars from Selinsgrove Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway.
The USS Achey Inc., 602 Crate Sportsman are looking forward to next Friday night as well, especially since their feature was postponed on April 4 when rain put an abrupt end to the night’s racing. The 602 Crate Sportsman portion of the Thaw Brawl will be run on May 23.
Also in action next Friday will be the Big Creek Concrete Rookie 602 Crate Sportsman.
Pit gates will open at 5:00 pm and grandstands at 5:30 pm. Hot laps will begin at 7:15 followed by heats. Pit admission is $40 for Big Diamond Speedway members and $45 for all non-members. Adult general admission is $30, students 10-15 are $10 and kids under 9 are free.
There is also an update to the schedule with the originally slated May 2 Foran’s Auto and Transmission Night now being moved to July 25. There will be no race on the evening of May 2.
