602 Crate Classic, $3,000 to win at Big Diamond Speedway Plus Full Fender Frenzy

With a very successful Modified Madness spectacular in the rear-view mirror, this Friday, May 10th, Big Diamond Speedway presents the 602 Crate Classic for the USS Achey, Inc 602 Crate Sportsman paying $3,000 to the winner of the 30-lap feature. Also on the schedule for this Friday night is the first ever Full Fender Frenzy, which will pay $1,000 to the winner of the 20-lap main event. Rounding out Friday night’s racing card will be the East Coast Legend Series along with the XCEL 600 Modifieds.

Leading the way to take the big money in the $3,000 to win 602 Crate Classic will be Jax Yohn who has won both USS Achey, Inc. 602 Crate features so far in 2024. The USS Achey, Inc 602 Crate division is very competitive and with the extra money on the line this Friday, you can expect a host of invaders looking to come in and steal the money away from the track regulars. Friday night will be a draw and redraw event for the Crate Sportsman. All Crate teams will receive 25 show up points for the night.

By virtue of his two wins so far this season, Jax Yohn is the current USS Achey, Inc 602 Crate Sportsman points leader over Nick Desantis, Kevin Olenick, Colin Cox and defending champion Jordan Henn.

·        No full-time modified drivers allowed. If you run regularly in a crate division at another speedway, you are eligible to race.

Friday night will also be the first ever Full Fender Frenzy presented by the speedway. The Full Fender Frenzy will be a combination of the Big Diamond Speedway Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunners, the Selinsgrove Speedway Roadrunners and the BAPS Speedway Extreme Stocks. Each team competing must follow their home tracks rules and will race 20-laps for the $1,000 first-place prize. All teams will draw for starting spots in the heats and the top finishers will redraw for the main event. All teams will receive 25 show-up points.
