DURDACH BROS. INC., PUTTING UP THE NUMBERS AGAIN AT BIG DIAMOND SPEEDWAY AS OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF MILLER LITE SCOREBOARD

(2-21-26) The 2026 season at Big Diamond Speedway will see not only the return of great weekly racing and of course great fans, but also a list of great marketing partners and of them is Durdach Brothers Inc., of Paxinos, who are the back as the official sponsor of the Miller Lite Scoreboard.

Durdach Bros. Inc., has a well-established history of serving the region, having started the business back in 1938 and going as strong as ever today. They are located at 5358 State Route 61, Paxinos. They are distributors of Miller/Coors products as well as a fine line of other domestic craft and imported beverages and non-alcoholic beverages.

This year marks the second season with Durdach Bros. Inc. serving as a primary track sponsor. The Miller Lite Scoreboard they provide is prominently located off Turn 2, offering excellent visibility to all attendees.

“I think it’s work out great. We brought up the opportunity about advertising with Big Diamond to Mr. Durdach, and he just knew it was a perfect match because obviously beer goes along with racing and the race track and it all just fell into to place nicely,” said Leah Purcell, Sales Representative for Durdach Bros. Inc.

Last season the track also hosted Durdach Bros. Inc., Night where fans enjoyed plenty of giveaways and even some samples of Miller Lite. They will once again have a race night, taking place on Friday, August 24 with the BQ 358 Modifieds, USS Achey Inc. 602 Sportsman, Red White and Blue Autos Inc. Roadrunners and the Keystone Sport Compact Series on the program.

“That went really well last year but we’re not going to be giving away beer this time. We will be doing raffles, throw out some t-shirts and just make it known that Durdach is here and Miller Lite is here to stay,” said Purcell.

For Purcell, involvement with Big Diamond Speedway goes beyond sponsorship. Yes, she values her company’s connection to a place she’s cherished for years but aside from that her father was a well-respected racer there too, the late “Double B” Bob Bowers.

“I love it and it’s really cool. I’ve been going to the track since I was little and of course my dad raced there and we have lots of family and friends there too and to walk up and see my employer right in front of my face, it’s pretty cool,” she stated.

“Jake (Smulley/track owner) is a long-time family friend, and I communicate with him about everything and he’s really good to deal with so we’re very pleased with the relationship we have with him and the track.”

The week prior to Durdach Bros. Inc., Night, on Friday, July 17, will be the third annual running of the Double B Bob Bowers Memorial, which is a special event in his honor and a big night for the Roadrunners who will be racing in twin-12 lap features paying a minimum $500-to-win each.

Last year’s event started out as the same payout, however after all was said and done the twin-12s paid a track record $1450 to win each thanks to the amazing efforts of the entire Bowers family. 2025 division champion Alex Schoffstall and Andrew Faysah III went on to collect the big paydays.

“Next to Durdach Brothers Night one of my other favorite nights of the year is the race we have for my dad. He was just a great man and it’s great to honor him with that race, obviously he was so loved, and we have a big get-together,” said Purcell.

Big Diamond Speedway is proud to welcome Durdach Bros. Inc., back as a primary partner, continuing their role as the official sponsor of the Miller Lite Scoreboard.

The 2026 season commences on Friday, April 3, with the 54th Season Opener “Thaw Brawl.” On tap are the BQ Concrete 358 Modifieds racing for a winner’s share of $4054-to-win, the USS Achey Inc., 602 Crate Sportsman contesting for $1054 in first place winnings, the Red White and Blue Autos Inc., Roadrunners doing battle in a $454-to-win feature plus the Big Creek Concrete Rooke 602 Crate Sportsman.

An open practice session takes place the preceding Sunday, March 29 from noon to 4:00 pm.
